![]() It is safe to say, that I am hooked and want more Discworld in my life. Whilst on my holiday I picked up The Last Hero in a charity shop for just £2 so I'm looking forward to reading through that next. Overall, I just wanted to say how much I loved everything about this book. Terry manages to combine comedy and serious moral issues together into this perfect blend that really left me craving for more. ![]() The quality of writing was at its peak all the way through. The characters, the story and the humour was top notch. He starts off as a crook, and in the end he still is a crook, but you could call him an honest crook.Įverything about this book felt like it was a labour of love. ![]() I particularly loved the complex character of Moist von Lipwig, and the journey that he goes on. I must admit I was a little skeptical at first because you don't often see the post office as the centre piece for any story. The watch novels were great in many ways, but Going Postal really blew my mind. Up to this moment I have been rather enjoying Discworld. The response was an overwhelming yes and so I decided to dive into it. ![]() Some of you might recall a post of mine about two weeks ago, asking if I should read Going Postal, after having read the first 3 watch books. ![]()
